Welcome to the villages of Clawson, Hose & Harby, situated in the glorious English countryside, of The Vale of Belvoir, in north Leicestershire.

The Parish Council of Clawson, Hose, and Harby is the local government body that serves these three neighbouring villages.

The council has been in existence for over a hundred years and strives to serve and improve the local communities. It acts as a channel for local opinion to the higher tiers of local government, being Melton Borough Council and Leicestershire County Council.

The council is very active and is consulted on a variety of issues, including Borough and County Council issues, transportation, highways, maintenance, flooding, community waste disposal, dog fouling, street-lighting, development control and planning, play equipment, hedges, trees, parish maintenance, grounds maintenance, Long Clawson Cemetery, allotments, etc.

The Parish Council meets on the third Monday of each month and the meetings are held in all three villages in rotation. All meetings commence at 7.00 pm unless notified.
Extra meetings are held if deemed necessary by the workload.

The Annual Parish Meeting is usually held in April or May, when the meeting is open to the public to express their opinions and ask questions.
