Annual meeting of the Parish Council

The Local Government Act 1972 Schedule 12 Para 7 (1) states that ‘A Parish Council shall in every year hold an annual meeting’ The Annual Parish Council Meeting is similar to a usual Parish Council meeting except it includes the annual election of the Chairman and Vice-Chair (Local Government Act 1972 ss 15).
As ever, residents are always welcome to attend our Parish Council meetings. There is a 15 minute section at each Parish Council meeting where you are welcome to speak if you have any questions or comments.
